Knowledge is the equivalent of an experience system in Worlds Adrift. Knowledge can be gained by using your Gauntlet's Forge Scanner (Default 4) on ancient Databanks which scattered over islands. In addition, you can scan island objects for small bits of knowledge and collect Lore pieces (codices) for 15, 25, 50, or 100 knowledge apiece.
Increases by 1 the amount of schematics you can have learned in each category, Clothing, Cooking, Ship Parts, Utility, and Crafting Components.
The cost starts at 50 and increases by 10 for each slot researched up to a maximum of 100 extra slots.
